The '3 minute rule' for coworking spaces saved my sanity
I was getting so burned out hopping between cafes and libraries every day. The wifi was spotty half the time and I'd spend 20 minutes just finding a seat with a power outlet. Last week I tried this thing where I give a new spot exactly 3 minutes to check the basics: plug in, load a video, and see if the chatter level is ok. If anything fails, I walk right out and try the next place on my list. Turned 45 minutes of hunting into maybe 10, and I actually got work done before noon for once. Has anyone else found a stupid simple rule like this that saves your day?
