Why does nobody mention how hard it is to find a dentist in Medellin?
Last month I landed in Medellin for a 3 month stay and spent 5 days calling around before I found a clinic that would take a foreigner without a local number, has anyone else run into this weird catch-22 with healthcare abroad?

Ran into the same wall in Thailand, and it hits you with everything from sim cards to bank accounts to doctors. The whole system assumes you already exist there, so getting started is the hard part, not the actual thing you need.
