Totally see that everywhere, not just with tech stuff. People will look for some deep, complex reason when the answer is right in front of them. Makes you wonder why our brains jump to the worst case first, right? That moment you figure it out is equal parts relief and facepalm.

Seriously? Those small learning meetups are a waste of time. You just end up listening to people who don't know much more than you do. The real connections and deals happen at the bigger events where the actual buyers are.

Giant checkers sounds like a nightmare. Poor depth perception would totally mess you up. Good call, @charles442, maybe it was for giants with really good eyesight. Or just a very clumsy old game nobody talks about anymore.
