inMy apprentice in Toledo asked why we still use the old three-pass method on smaller jobs, and I couldn't give him a good answer.
Wait, they're teaching apprentices in Toledo to skip the three-pass method now? That's the foundation for a clean finish on any size job. What are they showing them instead, just blasting it with a single heavy coat?

inHeard a customer at the market say they'd never pay more than $30 for a bouquet.
Honestly some people just don't get it. They see the final product and not the work behind it. Trying to explain costs to them is often a lost cause.

inVent: Had a client yesterday who insisted on using a lemon juice and baking soda mix she saw online, now her face is bright red and she's blaming my calming gel mask.
Ugh, why do people always trust random internet hacks over actual skincare? That lemon and baking soda combo is basically a chemical burn waiting to happen, it's so harsh. It totally strips your skin barrier. Of course her face is freaking out, and now you're getting the blame for it. That's so frustrating, you were just trying to help with the mask after the fact.

inShoutout to the old guy who watched me hold my clippers wrong for a year
My old instructor drilled the death grip into us for years. Swore it was the only way to control the club. Tried the light pressure thing last season out of pure frustration. Shaved four strokes off my average round by the third week. Couldn't believe how much cleaner the strike felt. Completely changed my mind on this one.
