Wait, they're teaching apprentices in Toledo to skip the three-pass method now? That's the foundation for a clean finish on any size job. What are they showing them instead, just blasting it with a single heavy coat?

My cousin's kid went through a trade program in Dayton last year and they barely covered patching. It feels like a lot of places are just rushing people through to fill spots... teaching the shortcut before the right way. You see it everywhere now, from how they build stuff to how they fix your car. Nobody's taught to care about the work that comes after their part is done, so nothing holds up.
