inBack in the day, our climbing ropes were just thick garden hose
Ngl, using garden hose for climbing sounds both hilarious and absolutely terrifying.

inShoutout to using a rubber band for consistent drill depth
See, I've had the total opposite happen. Tape can leave a gross sticky mess if you're working with wood or something porous, and it tears the grain when you pull it off. A thick rubber band, especially one of those wide ones, has never slipped on me if I double loop it. I've found it gives a more even pressure on weird shapes too, where tape might just peel right back.

inWatching a toddler resist a haircut gave me new insight.
Felt the same panic last week when I had to update my computer software... sat there staring at the screen for an hour, making excuses about being too busy. Really, I was just scared it would break something and I'd lose all my work. My heart was pounding like that toddler screaming in the barber chair. We put up these walls to feel safe, even when it holds us back. It's crazy how deep that fear goes.

inQuestion about drywall lifts that seem to have a mind of their own
umar59's question about caster locks is spot on, but on a lot of lifts only two wheels actually lock. If the unlocked ones are on the slick part, it's still gonna move.
