Spent 11 days trying to make an index page for my journal and gave up
Everyone says you need an index in the front of your bullet journal, but building one for a whole year nearly broke me. I tried thread and a needle on 40 pages, then washi tape tabs, then a ruler and a pencil grid, and every version fell apart or looked messy. It ate up 11 days of my evenings after work and I still could not flip to anything fast. Now I just use three skinny sticky notes on the cover and call it done. Does anyone actually keep up an index past March, or is it just me who quit?

Year two I just numbered pages and skipped the index entirely.
