That $400 Crain sounds like the best money you ever dropped, no question. I grabbed a used Roberts stretcher off a guy getting out of the trade for about $350 maybe 2017, and my back thanked me every single day after that. Learned this one the hard way too. Those temp ratings are basically lies unless you sleep in a full down suit. I always add at least 15 degrees now and it works out way better. Some brands do list a comfort rating on the tag which is more honest. If it only shows one number, just assume it means you will live through the night, not sleep good. Bring a liner no matter what, it weighs nothing and saves your whole trip.
