inAppreciation post: I keep seeing writers use 'show, don't tell' to mean every single detail needs a full scene, which can really drag a story down.
Honestly, tell when the feeling isn't the main point of the scene.

inI just realized I've drilled over 500 holes in my house since moving in three years ago.
Marking the lath strips first is such a smart move. I used a small rare earth magnet on a string to find the nails in the lath when my stud finder was acting up. It finds them every time. Then I'd mark a whole vertical line with a pencil so I knew where the solid wood was for hanging anything heavy. It saves so much guesswork and extra holes.

inVent: My grinder setting hunt took a full month
Oh man, water is a total game changer... @veraj53, a month sounds about right for that kind of hunt. I keep a gallon of the cheap store-brand spring water just for my picky light roasts, it cuts out all the guesswork.

inWarning: my new sleeping bag nearly got me hypothermic in the Sawtooths
My old bag's rating was a total lie, so I just add ten degrees to whatever the tag says now.

inI thought the 'breakfast burrito' from the blue truck on 5th was just hype...
That green chili sauce is seriously next level, I dream about it.
