I thought the 'breakfast burrito' from the blue truck on 5th was just hype...
My crew kept telling me to try it, but I figured it was just eggs and potatoes. Last Thursday I finally got one, and they put this green chili sauce on it that's made in-house. It completely changed the flavor, made it spicy and rich without being heavy. Has anyone else tried their sauce, or know if they sell it by the jar?
Just peppers and vinegar is really selling it short. That sauce has roasted tomatillos and garlic in there too, which gives it that deep, smoky flavor. It's way more than just a basic hot sauce.
