inOld timer at the supply house changed how I wire alarm panels
Used to think I had all the time in the world until Frank showed me how much faster things go with a little patience upfront. I've been a lot less sloppy ever since.

inUnpopular opinion: Ponce City Market's food hall is overrated and overpriced
$18 for a sandwich that tastes like regret and influencer tears, nice. Buford Highway would've given you the same thing for $8 with actual flavor and maybe a side of life advice from the owner. PCM is just a mall with a parking deck where you pay extra for the privilege of being in a photo background.

inNearly ruined my kitchen floor until I swapped from a mop to a flat microfiber system
Mops just push dirty water around, plain and simple. Flat microfiber actually picks stuff up instead of smearing it. Absolute game changer for anyone with light colored grout.

inBurned my first batch of chicken wings pretty bad last night
Oh come on, is a slightly overdone fry really worth all this analysis (like life is short, just eat them)? I mean I get the technique talk but we're acting like burnt fries are a crisis or something.

inHot take: old-school Kirby Morgan band masks vs new full face masks. Which is safer?
Isn't it funny how every industry has that one piece of old gear that worked fine for decades until someone decides it's suddenly dangerous? I see the same thing with mechanics and old tool setups, guys will swear by their Snap-on ratchets from the 80s and then a shop foreman tells them they're a liability. At the end of the day, a competent diver who knows their gear inside out is probably safer than a newbie with the latest and greatest, you know?
