I finally figured out why my book club kept arguing about the same character every month

We were all reading different editions of the book because half of us got library copies and half got used paperbacks with missing pages, and that one missing chapter made us fight for three meetings until someone brought it up.

I work from home and yesterday my orange tabby kept disappearing into the laundry room. By the end of my shift, I counted 17 socks lined up on the kitchen floor like he was building some kind of shrine. No two socks matched either, he went out of his way to find odd pairs. He just sat there staring at me when I found them, blinking slowly. Does anyone else's pet collect weird specific things like this?

Ngl I was sure it would just splatter everywhere and make a mess but after watching 4 YouTube videos I gave it a shot and the finish is actually smoother than brush strokes. Has anyone else had luck with those cheap HVLP sprayers from Harbor Freight?

Went with a hand forge over a gas forge and it cost me 3 hours per shoe

I had to choose between a gas forge for speed or a hand forge for control back when I set up my shop last spring. Picked the hand forge because my mentor swore by it, and now every shoe takes me about 30 minutes extra to shape. The control is nice for tricky hoof angles, but I'm losing 3 hours a day on heat cycles alone. Anyone else switch from hand to gas and notice a big difference in their daily output?
