inOld timer at the supply house changed how I wire alarm panels
Ask him what he showed you exactly? Im curious if it was something with the way he laid out the wires before screwing them down or if he had some trick for keeping them organized while you work. @carter.laura that story about the lady and the strippers funny but also kind of annoying how we all just use our teeth or whatever is handy until some random person sets us straight. I bet Frank probably showed you a specific order to land the wires or something with how he bundles them so they dont get tangled. Thats the kind of thing that saves way more than 5 minutes once you get used to it.

inChat with a 30 year veteran made me rethink my taping knife setup
Old Mike sounds like he knew his stuff. That three knife setup makes a world of difference on corner work. I had a similar moment with a painter who told me to stop using cheap rollers, changed my whole finish game. Sometimes that one bit of advice from a veteran is worth more than a whole YouTube playlist.

inI was dead wrong about romance anime
Yeah Rodrigo that story is hilarious. I get why he freaked out though. That movie's videotape concept is just creepy. The way it uses atmosphere and sound instead of jump scares is what makes it stick with you. Even someone who says they hate horror can't argue with how well it's put together. It's like the perfect gateway horror film for people who think they're too tough for scary stuff.

inGot a cheap Harbor Freight sander that changed my whole block sanding routine
Just proves my luck is inversely proportional to how much I spend on tools. My $50 Harbor Freight welder is still going strong but my $800 Miller is in the shop again.

inThat trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens changed how I water my houseplants
Read a study saying wet leaves can actually cause fungal issues in snake plants, @wadem89.
