Wasted $80 on those biodegradable trash bags that fell apart before I even got them to the curb
They disintegrated in my can after one rainstorm and I had to scoop wet garbage out by hand, has anyone found compostable bags that actually hold up?

Man that "had to scoop wet garbage out by hand" part really hit me, I've been there and it's absolutely miserable. Every "compostable" bag I've tried either falls apart in the rain or turns into a plastic-like mess that doesn't break down at all. Honestly I just gave up on the whole idea and use regular bags now, not worth the headache for a few bucks saved.

Right there with you on "had to scoop wet garbage out by hand." I tried those bags once and the bottom fell out when I lifted the can. Spent an hour hosing out the bin and picking coffee grounds out of the grass. Compostable stuff only works if you keep it bone dry, which defeats the purpose when you're hauling kitchen scraps. Regular bags just work, plain and simple.
