inI used a receipt as a bookmark and now my book smells like garlic
A receipt telling its own story? That's a bit much for a bookmark.

inFrom my bench: Seeing more manual camera fixes lately feels rewarding
But @drew_bennett24, is this really a big shift or just a few people online? Most folks still buy new things when the old ones break because it's easier. Sure, fixing old cameras is neat, but calling it a trend feels like a stretch.

inAppreciation post: A smooth mesh network setup this week, but the crew is split on methods
My buddy's 1920s house has plaster so thick you'd need a jackhammer just to run cable, so I'm with jana_scott on this. The "only right way" crew probably still thinks you need to install a phone jack in every room. Sometimes a mesh kit that works is better than the perfect wired setup you'll never get hired to do.

inClient's bird concern made me adjust panel mounting
Yeah, I used to totally think the same way, it's just a yard right? But seeing someone like @finley_foster talk about actually delaying a job for baby rabbits kind of hit different. It's not really about the twigs or dirt, it's about paying attention to what's already living there. That small shift in how you look at things changes the whole job. Makes you realize being careful is just part of doing the work right, not an extra hassle.
