inThought the $6.50 oat latte at the place on 5th was a scam, went 4 times in one week
My wallet says $5 max but my caffeine addiction and desire to look busy on my laptop say otherwise. That foam tax adds up quick, huh?

inUpdate: finished my first 30 day prompt challenge last month, all 30 written at the laundromat on 9th
30 stories at a laundromat is wild but the dryer timer is the real trick there, a hard stop makes your brain finish things. Tying writing to a chore you already do beats hiding notebooks somewhere you'll just ignore them, you can't skip laundry forever. Maybe month two is bus rides or your lunch break, some place with a built in end time.

inThe number 12 boning knife I stopped sharpening for a month changed my mind
Kept a dull knife around for years, but not for the reason you're describing. The rolled edge acts more like a spoon than a blade, so it pushes the meat away from the bone instead of slicing into it. That's the real trick, the dullness is doing the work of a feeler gauge. You're not cutting closer, you're feeling where the bone actually is before the edge ever makes contact. Most guys fight this by sharpening harder when the answer is to stop fighting geometry with a razor.
