The cashier at Kroger who rang up my cucumbers wrong three times
I was checking out last Tuesday with a few items, and the young lady at the register kept scanning my cucumbers as avocados, which are $1.50 more each. When I pointed it out, she just shrugged and said, 'The machine reads what it wants.' I had to ask for a supervisor to fix a $4.50 mistake, and she acted like I was being difficult. Has anyone else had to fight a grocery store over a simple pricing error like that?

Wait, she actually said "the machine reads what it wants"? That is wild. I would have lost my mind right there in the checkout line. Cucumbers and avocados are not even close to the same shape or size, so how does a scanner mix those up? Sounds like she just did not want to deal with it and hoped you would pay the extra money without noticing.
