Serious question, has anyone else tried both the old style fish tapes and the newer fiberglass ones?

I was pulling wire through a long conduit run in a 1960s office building last week, about 150 feet total. The steel tape kept binding up and kinking on me, so I grabbed a buddy's fiberglass tape from his truck. It went through smooth as butter, no kinks, and the tip didn't catch on the couplings. The difference in time and frustration was huge. What other tools have you guys switched to that were a total game changer for conduit work?

I used to just lurk in the Chatter Lounge for months, but I finally posted a question about a weird thread formatting issue last week.

My buddy at the shop in Riverside swore by them for over a year, but I kept using my regular texturizers. Then I tried his on a client with super thick, wavy hair that always turned out bulky. The difference was crazy... it just melted through the bulk without leaving any lines. I had to eat my words and order a pair that same night. Anyone have a brand they really like, or are they all pretty much the same?

Had to choose between a Corktown spot and a place in Eastern Market for my cleaning business office, went with Eastern Market and it's been a good call.
