Just caught my beagle eating a whole chocolate bar off the coffee table in Fresno
I was in the kitchen making coffee Saturday morning when I heard the wrapper crinkle, and sure enough she had the whole bar in her mouth at 8:15am. I pulled it out fast but she got maybe a third of it, so I called the vet and they said to watch her for the next few hours. We sat on the floor in the living room while I watched her like a hawk, and by noon she was running around like nothing happened. Anyone else have a dog that goes after sweets, and what do you actually keep on hand for these scares?
