I used to think password managers were a waste of money

Gave me chills reading that. I had one from "Amazon" about a suspicious order and I nearly clicked the link before I saw the email address was something like support.amazon-security-verify.net or whatever. It's wild how good these scammers are getting with the logos and formatting, like they actually pay designers to make them look real. Makes you wonder how many people just type in their password without thinking.

The one time a dev told me AI art was "just math" and I walked away

Jump right into it. That whole attitude is just a FANCY way of saying "I don't want to be responsible for what I built." It's the same thing you see with people who make loud cars or leave their trash at a campsite. They figure if they can use "math" or "data" as a shield, they don't have to care about how it messes things up for everyone else. I see it all the time in everyday stuff. Like someone who owns a rental property that's falling apart and just says "the market decides the price" instead of fixing the mold. It's a way to hide from the real world consequences. People like that dev don't want to admit that their "just math" is shaping how people see themselves and others every single day.

TIL hog casing from local pigs is WAY more tender than what I ordered online

You mentioned "snapped perfect" and that really made me think. A buddy of mine who makes sausage at home tried those big online casings once too and said they felt like chewing on rubber bands. He switched to a local butcher and the difference was so big he won't go back. He told me the local ones almost melt in your mouth while the online ones felt like they fought back when you bit into them. It's a totally different product when it comes from nearby.

My dad swore I was grinding coffee beans wrong for years

Grabbed a Hario Mini Mill and never looked back honestly.

The broken pallet jack that almost cost me a safety audit

That same pin being reported two weeks ago and nobody fixing it... classic. Grab a sharpie and write the work order number directly on the handle next time. Makes it real hard to ignore when they have to look at it every time they walk by.
