Remember that deep breaths help but sometimes my mind keeps racing. If I rush through them, I still carry stress into the next facial. Henry_murray1 really nailed it with the cold water splash because that sudden shock breaks my thought loop. I started counting slowly to five while washing my hands between clients. This simple habit grounds me better than just breathing alone. Now I catch small things like a client's skin feeling warmer, which means I adjust my pressure right away.

Totally get that. It's like when you spend more time comparing writing apps than actually writing, or testing every guitar pedal instead of learning a new song. The tool becomes a distraction from the real work. You end up with all the gear but no finished projects. At some point you just have to commit to what's in front of you and make the thing.
