The cat peed on the padding and I found out at 7pm

Pulled up the old carpet in a bedroom off Maple Street and the pad was soaked through with cat pee, so I cut out that whole 4x6 section, sprayed the subfloor with enzyme cleaner, and let it sit overnight while the homeowner swore the cat had never done that before, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has a go-to trick for those smells that actually works.
