My $35 coffee maker died on a Sunday and I learned something about cheap appliances

My $35 Mr. Coffee finally gave out last Sunday morning mid brew, water everywhere on the counter. I almost drove to Target to grab another cheap one but decided to check Facebook Marketplace first. Found a used Cuisinart for $15 from a guy in Oak Park, and it's been running great for three weeks now. Anyone else have luck buying used small appliances instead of new budget ones?
