Switched from Google Ads to Facebook Ads after a client pushed me - surprised by the results

Is it just me or does every algorithm eventually get too big for its own britches? Facebook got sloppy chasing ads just like Google did back in the day, lol.

Ran into my old boss at a diner in Denver three years ago

Man that line about being "convinced my career was stuck" hit home hard. I once bumped into a guy at a gas station who recognized me from a podcast I did years earlier, and he turned out to be a contractor looking for someone who could carry heavy stuff without complaining. I thought he was gonna ask me to help him move a couch or something, but instead he offered me a spot on a crew that paid way better than my old gig. Guess sometimes the universe picks the weirdest places to throw you a lifeline, like a diner counter or a pump with stale coffee smell. Ever get that feeling where one dumb coincidence fixes everything you were stressing about?

Just learned my exit ramp has a 15% crash rate

15% is wild even if it's mostly fender benders. Id find a new route too.

Debate: Should you skimp on patio base prep or go all out?

@terryk28 you mentioned the frost pushing things around, that got me thinking. What kind of prep do you do in your area for that freezing and thawing? Is there a trick to keeping pavers level through the winter months?

Competition brisket vs backyard brisket, I picked wrong for years

Figure out what exactly was different about his cook besides just skipping the wrap. Was he running his offset hotter than you usually do or did he spritz more often to keep the surface moist. I'm wondering if the real secret is in the temp management and moisture balance rather than just ditching the paper.
