inShowerthought: A customer in Denver told me their old carpet was from the 90s
Yeah, the dust thing hayden144 mentioned is real. I pulled up some ancient shag once and it was like opening a time capsule of pet dander. But it got me thinking about weird stuff under carpets. Found a 1978 newspaper under some linoleum once, perfectly preserved. The headlines were wild. Makes you wonder what we're sealing up under there now.

inA customer in Billings swore his 6.7 Powerstroke injectors were fine after a failed buzz test
Reminds me of a tenant who installed his own cheap bathroom fan. Thing started making this high pitched whine at 3am, but also leaked condensation down the inside wall. Had to show him the water stain on the drywall from the attic side. He shut up real quick when he saw the mold starting.

inI was at the Creator's Lounge event in Austin and noticed half the talks were about AI tools, but the other half were focused on old-school community building.
Hold up. The tool is the whole game now. A bad app or slow site kills any community vibe before it even starts. You can have the best group of people, but if the tech fails them, they just leave. Seen it happen too many times.

inI finally drove out to the Joshua Tree dark sky zone and the Milky Way was so washed out from city glow on the horizon.
Ugh, that's the worst. So the marina side is shot now too? How far east did you have to go to get away from that solar farm glow, like past the old campgrounds? I'm trying to picture exactly where that light dome ends.

inThe weird shift in the flat earth crowd around 2020
Yeah, it's like conspiracy theory soup now. I saw one guy trying to link flat earth to 5G and bird drones, and honestly I got lost trying to follow his own logic, which is saying something lol.
