inThis adhesive warping my book covers is driving me crazy!
Yeah, the heavy book trick is solid. I used a big old dictionary on my warped paperback for a couple days and it worked like a charm. If it's really stubborn, you can slide it under a full bookcase shelf or even a flat laptop case with some weight in it. Most of the time it's just from humidity and it'll chill out.

inPSA: Rushing my digital mural backfired big time
Buffer time is the hardest part to schedule because it feels like wasted space. Try blocking out 15 minute chunks after any major color step and treat it as non-negotiable. Most delays come from tiny corrections adding up, not one big problem. Looking back at old projects to see where you actually lost time can help set more real buffers for the next one.

inMy tools are still sticky from that foam job, so I skip it now
But why use batting at all for big gaps? That stuff compresses over time and leaves voids. I'd just use the expanding foam carefully in layers, letting it fully cure before trimming it flat, then seal it with caulk. Batting just seems like an extra step that can create more problems later.
