Rant: The great taco truck parking spot hunt of last Thursday

I was trying to meet up with my buddy at the new 'El Jefe' truck downtown, but the spot they posted on their socials was taken by a construction crew. Took me 45 minutes of driving in circles, checking three different apps, to finally find them parked two blocks over by the library. Has anyone else had a truck move locations last minute like that?

Was it really a 45 minute emergency? Sounds like you just wanted tacos, not a kidney. They move for a reason, like permits or crowds. Maybe just pack a snack next time.

Pack a snack" reminds me of the time my friend brought a whole bag of carrots to a concert. Security thought it was so weird they made him eat one to prove it wasn't drugs. He just really liked carrots.

Your friend is a legend for that carrot move. ChristopherWilson might be onto something with the snack idea, but I'd probably bring something less suspicious like chips. My luck, security would think my bag of pretzels was some new kind of contraband.
