Remember when everyone was making those huge, stiff denim jackets?

I spent about $200 on a heavy-duty industrial sewing machine back in 2018, thinking I'd need it for thick fabrics. It worked, but it was a pain to use for anything else. I used it for maybe three projects before it just sat in my closet. Now I see designers using softer, draped fabrics again and that old machine feels like a relic. Anyone still have a piece of gear they bought for a trend that passed?

Ever try selling yours? I sold my heavy-duty serger last year on a local craft group. Felt good to clear the space and get a little cash back.

Yeah, that feeling of clearing out a big piece of gear is the best part, isn't it? Almost better than the money.

Sold my old table saw that way. The buyer showed up in a minivan and we had to take the legs off just to fit it in.
