inHit 500 tracked hours on my backyard telescope setup last night and the number actually bummed me out.
Honestly, "a few hundred hours" is a crazy amount of time when you really stop to count it up. I read something once about how it takes about 10,000 hours to get really good at something, so a few hundred is a solid chunk of that journey. Tbh it makes all those little sessions add up to something you can actually see. That kind of number isn't just messing around anymore, it's real time put in.

inRemember when getting a new car meant just picking gas or diesel?
Honestly, I still think gas is way easier for most people. The charging time alone would drive me nuts.

inBack in 2019 I was sure TikTok ads were just a fad for kids
Remember when everyone said Instagram was just for food pics and wouldn't sell anything? I feel like we're watching the same movie again with TikTok. It's tough to know when a platform is actually changing or if it's just noise.

inPSA: I thought those $40 Japanese steel shears were just hype
Check if the handles are still riveted or welded together. My grandpa's shed pair from the 40s has solid brass rivets that outlasted three of his modern replacements. @jamesm38 might be onto something with older tools just having better joints.

inSaw a clever hoof stand setup at the fairgrounds in Cheyenne
So we're just building furniture for horses now? What's next, a tiny couch?
