My website crashed right before the big Edmonton Chamber event
My business site went down for about two hours yesterday afternoon, right when I was trying to share my booth details online. I had to call my hosting company and they found a plugin conflict that was eating up all the server memory. Has anyone else in the network dealt with a sudden site crash and have a good local IT person to recommend for a check-up?

Yeah, "plugin conflict" used to sound like a made up excuse to me until it happened during my own online launch. Stella_lane is right, they really are the worst kind of problem. I ended up finding a great local guy who does site checkups to stop it from happening again.

My site went down once right as I was trying to show a client my portfolio (talk about perfect timing). It's the worst kind of tech stress, especially when you're trying to look professional. I don't have an IT person to recommend, but I really hope you find someone good.
