Tried coworking spaces vs library cafes for 2 months and the library won by a mile

After bouncing between WeWork and local library cafes in Chiang Mai, the library's free wifi, quieter vibe, and consistent outlets saved me about $150 a month on membership fees, has anyone else ditched coworking spaces for a quieter option?

Left my laptop at a library once and found it still there the next day.

Read a news article once about this guy who left his laptop in a coffee shop. Someone turned it into the lost and found, but it took three weeks to get it back. The hard drive was wiped clean by the shop owner, said it was "for security reasons." Total nightmare. You got lucky with the library. Most people aren't that honest anymore.

I mean, the shop owner wiping the drive isn't really "security reasons" that's just theft.
