Called BS on those $60 clippers from Amazon but after 6 months they're still holding up better than my Wahl Seniors

I picked up a random brand called KAPS on a whim for a backup kit and now I actually reach for them first during back-to-backs at my chair in Austin - has anyone else found a budget clipper that actually outlasted your expectations?

Whoa wait, yours died on the THIRD use? That's insane, mine are still going strong after six months and I've been pretty rough with them. Did you buy them from the same seller or a different listing?

Set of KAPS died on me third use. Total garbage.

Oh man, that's rough. I had a similar thing happen with a different brand. What worked for me was taking them back to the store and swapping them out for a simpler model without all the fancy features. Sometimes the basic ones last way longer.

Gently shake the box before you use them next time. A lot of those sets settle during shipping and the powder gets packed down, which can mess with the burn or the seal. Pop the lid off and tap the bottom a few times to redistribute it, should help them last way longer than 3 uses.
