inA senior dev told me my comments were useless.
Nah that's real life though. Like it's the same as putting directions on a jar of pickles, you don't need to write "open lid" you need to say "store in fridge after opening" or whatever.

inHit 500 loaves sold from my home kitchen last weekend
500 loaves is no joke, that's solid proof people actually want what you're baking. The farmers market samples move is smart too, gets them hooked before they even hand over cash. I hit a similar moment a while back when someone from two towns over drove 40 minutes to pick up a batch of my hot sauce because their cousin had brought some to a party. That's when you realize your little hobby turned into something real without you even noticing. Now I actually keep an extra cooler in the trunk just for the random pickups.

inThat time I bought a bulk box of 'cheap' chicken and learned my lesson
Learned this one the hard way with a "manager's special" pack of ground beef. Smelled like a gym sock wrapped in regret.

inThat week my van broke down and I still finished 14 calls somehow
Makes you wonder how much of life's best stuff happens when plans completely fall apart.

inMy mechanic brother in law told me to stop babying my engine and I feel dumb now
Yep, your brother in law is right. Idling for more than 30 seconds just wastes gas and doesn't do much for the oil. Your engine warms up way faster when you just drive it gently. I used to let my truck run for five minutes every morning. Now I just start it, buckle up, and go easy until the temp gauge moves. That old habit cost me a lot of gas money for nothing.
