inI finally figured out why my beans were so late
Wait, but aren't seed packets usually right on the money? They test them all over, so the dates work for most spots, unlike @jamesm38's cold backyard. I've always used packet dates for my beans and they come up fine, even in cool springs. Maybe the problem is not the timing but how you planted them or the soil itself.

inMy bullet journal streak helped me get through a tough week!
Putting all your thoughts on paper really does help sort through the clutter in your head. I often get stuck trying to make things neat from the start, and that just adds more stress. Letting it be messy at first gives me room to breathe and figure out what matters. Sometimes the best ideas come from that initial jumble of words. There's a kind of freedom in knowing it doesn't have to be right on the first try. How do you deal with the urge to make everything perfect right away?

inIgnoring a faint hum cost me a full day's work on a hydraulic unit.
Seal kits won't fix every weird noise though.

inOur new employee thought silk flowers needed daily watering.
Read this and laughed out loud at my desk. Totally get where @caleb_price is coming from with the talking to plants thing. We had this fake fiddle leaf fig in our old office that looked so real I caught myself judging its "health" for weeks. Someone finally had to point out it was plastic, and I felt so silly. Makes you wonder about my own house plants, right?

inPlastic parts in boiler work are popping up more, and it's a bad idea
PEX can handle 200 degrees, so is it really that unsafe?
