Shoutout to the guy who pointed out my phone charging habit
I was at a cafe in Portland and this dude saw me plug my phone in at 100% battery. He said keeping it topped off all the time kills the battery health way faster. I checked my battery stats and it's already at 88% max capacity after only a year. Anyone else have tips for making phone batteries last longer?

My phone battery is at 82% and I basically keep it plugged into my car like an IV drip, so I am definitely the problem here lol. I heard the sweet spot is keeping it between 20% and 80% charge, but that feels like a full time job. My old phone ballooned up because I cooked it charging overnight. I guess I need to start actually listening to the battery health tips instead of just ignoring them.

Yeah, the "full time job" feeling is real. I just set a charging alarm for 80% and try to unplug it, which works most nights. It's way easier than stressing over the exact percentage all day.
