Warning: That new Korean taco truck downtown cost me $18 for three tacos that were basically just lettuce

I stopped by Seoul Seoul on 5th Street around noon yesterday and paid $18 for three tiny tacos that had maybe two bites of meat each, just a pile of shredded cabbage and a drizzle of sauce, has anyone else tried them or did I just get a bad batch?

Ask the folks at Seoul Seoul if they even weigh the meat before throwing it on there, because those portions sound like they're supposed to be for kids (or birds). I've been burned by taco trucks before where the first bite is all crunch from the cabbage and then you're just chewing sad lettuce for the rest of the meal. Did you actually see them making the tacos at the truck, or did they come out of a warmer or something? I swear that lettuce trick is their way of making you feel like you got more food than you actually did, like a fast food burger bun situation. Was the sauce any good at least, or was that just watered down goop too?

Did you check the tortilla situation too? The tacos I got from Seoul Seoul were basically floppy, cold tortillas wrapped around a single bite of meat and a pile of shredded lettuce that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. I walked away thinking I paid $8 for a taco that was 90% air and disappointment, so yeah I feel your pain.
