I finally saw a guy in Denver wearing a jacket with the pockets sewn shut and it made me realize we design clothes for photos, not for actual living.
After noticing three different people in my building last month cut open the pockets on their new pants because they were just for show, I think we need to stop treating functional details like pockets and vents as optional decorations and actually build them to be used, so what's one small, practical feature you wish more designers would get right?

You said "pockets and vents" but vents are usually functional. The real problem is fake pockets. I bought a nice coat last winter that had a perfect looking pocket flap, but the pocket behind it was just a shallow inch deep. Couldn't even fit my keys. That's the pointless decoration.
