I compared sewing my own dress to buying one off the rack and wow what a difference
Last month I spent 6 hours making a simple cotton sundress from a pattern, and the fit was so much better than the $45 one I bought from Target the weekend before. The store dress had weird bunching at the shoulders, but my homemade version just hangs right. Has anyone else found that even basic home sewing beats store-bought for comfort?
Yeah totally get that. I fixed a loose button on my flannel shirt last week and it felt way better than any new one I've bought. Homemade stuff just fits right you know?
