Found a nearly brand Apple Watch in a dumpster behind a mall last week

I was digging through a bin behind the food court and spotted a box that looked too clean to be trash. Opened it up and there was a Series 8 with the charger still wrapped in plastic, just someone threw the whole thing away. How do people accidentally toss stuff worth $400 without noticing lol?

Brian from work once threw out his WHOLE wallet with $200 in it and didn't realize until three days later when he was looking for a gift card. I feel like rich people just don't even think about what they toss sometimes, they probably got a new watch and forgot they even owned that one. My sister once found a Tiffany bracelet in the trash behind a bank, still in its box with the receipt showing it was a week old. Some folks treat expensive stuff like it's disposable and it makes me absolutely FURIOUS because I'd cry over losing a $20 bill.

Man I lose my car keys twice a week so I'm basically the reason those dumpsters exist.

Used to think people were exaggerating about rich folks just tossing stuff out... but then my neighbor renovated their kitchen and I saw them throw out a whole set of good knives because they got "ugly" handles. Stuff like that really changes your view on it. Not just rich people either, some folks just don't value what they have until it's gone. Your wallet story kind of proves the point that a lot of this waste is just pure carelessness.
