Remember when you had to find an internet cafe in Chiang Mai to send a single email? I just booked a whole month in a tiny Greek village because the Starlink reviews said it works.

Man, that's wild. My buddy Dave tried to work from a surf town in Nicaragua like five years ago. He spent half his budget on sketchy cafe wifi that would die whenever it rained. He just went back last month with a Starlink dish and sent me a video call from his patio, clear as day. The difference a few years makes is honestly crazy.

Yeah but is it really that crazy, @sullivan.spencer? People act like this is some huge life changing thing. It's just better internet. Dave's story just shows he picked a bad spot the first time. The tech gets a little better, that's what it does. I'm not sold that carrying a dish around is some big revolution for most folks.

Forget the dish, the real story is Dave wasting money twice on a place with bad infrastructure. He could have just picked a town with decent cell service or a real coworking space. This feels like solving a problem you made for yourself by going somewhere too remote to begin with.
