My buddy in Seattle said digital art is just pushing buttons, and honestly, that got me thinking.
He said 'it's not real art like painting,' but after seeing the 200+ layers in my friend's fantasy landscape piece, I think he's missing the whole point of skill and vision, don't you?

Yeah that happens, but sometimes people actually get it and still think it's a bad idea. Understanding something doesn't mean you have to agree with it. I've seen plenty of smart ideas that just aren't practical in real life. Dismissing those isn't about being dumb, it's about having different priorities.
