Can we talk about people posting their art at 72 DPI for prints? Saw it three times today on the showcase feed.

Drives me nuts because it feels like no one teaches the basics anymore. They see the file size is huge on screen and think that's good enough for a physical product. Really need at least 300 DPI at the final print size, otherwise it's gonna look soft or pixelated on paper. Saves everyone a headache if you just get the settings right from the start.

Wait, people don't know about DPI? That's like the first thing you learn.

Yeah, the "huge on screen" thing is such a trap. @taylor_miller10, do you think it's mostly new artists or are even experienced people sometimes getting this wrong with digital work?

Honestly, who even cares that much. If it looks fine on their screen and they're happy with it, let them post it. Not everyone is trying to make a perfect print.
