Nah, mine just went quiet last month, no warning at all. I'd take the gurgle @sageadams got, at least you see it coming.

Feel your pain, mine did the exact same thing last Tuesday. Just made this awful gurgling sound and died, right as I was pouring my first cup. Had to run to the gas station for terrible coffee before my 9 AM call.

That gurgling sound is the worst. Honestly, it makes me wonder if the machine is trying to warn us before it goes. Like maybe if you hear it, you could unplug it for a day to let it dry out or something. Tbh I should probably look up what that noise actually means.
