That YouTube thumbnail plugin took me 3 hours to configure and still looks wrong
Spent an entire afternoon trying to get TubeBuddy to auto-generate decent thumbnails for my channel and after 180 minutes it still picked the blurriest frame from the video, has anyone else had this issue?

Honestly, I have to push back a bit on the "broken by design" thing. I get why you'd feel that way after 3 hours, but I actually think the auto-thumbnail tool is decent if you approach it right. Tbh, the trick is to not rely on it picking a frame for you at all, you gotta scroll through the timeline yourself and grab the frame you want before you even open TubeBuddy. Ngl, I've found that if I manually select a few good moments in the video and let the plugin pick from those, it works way better than just letting it scan the whole thing. Grant, you said it picks blurry sneeze faces and that's real, but that's mostly because people don't prep their video with clean static shots in mind. Maybe spend less time fighting the tool and more time setting up clear frames during recording, that cuts my thumbnail work down to like 10 minutes.

Wait, 3 hours?? Dude that is PAINFUL. I thought MY 45 minutes was bad but you went full afternoon on that thing. TubeBuddy always picks the worst possible frame, it's like it specifically targets the blurry ones where your face is mid-sneeze or something. I have to manually grab my own screenshots and edit them in Canva just to get something decent. Honestly at this point I'm convinced the auto-thumbnail feature is actually broken by design.
