inSeeing coworkers give free refills made me rethink our shop's rules
Three free refills on premium juice is a lot, but @dakota_burns83 has a point about small costs. I'd probably be the employee with a tiny notebook tracking every pour, which is kinda sad now that I say it. Enforcing rules no one else follows always makes you the unpopular one. It's like choosing between being liked and following the book, and both choices suck sometimes. Boss not complaining makes it even harder to know what's right.

inMy new after-work stretch habit is paying off big time
I mean sure it helps sometimes, but stretching after work can actually make things worse if you're not careful. I knew a guy who pulled something bad trying to stretch out cold muscles right after his shift. Sometimes that pain is your body saying something's really wrong, and a few stretches just papers over the crack. Idk, maybe it's just me but I've seen too many people skip actual medical help for a quick fix that fails later.

inHeads up on recycled sand and core voids
But how big of a deal is it really? Like, if you have a playground or a sandbox, sure, old sand gets gross. But for most backyard stuff, is it a crisis or just kinda dirty? I've seen people freak out over landscape sand just sitting there, and I'm not convinced it's a health emergency. Are we overthinking basic dirt?

inMy turnaround on food service jobs after a decade in HVAC
Honestly! He showed me his books from the last three years, and the money was way more steady than I ever guessed. The real kicker was how he plans for slow times by booking private events and shifting his location ahead of time. It wasn't just luck, he had a system for everything, even slow seasons. Seeing that kind of control over the work changed my whole view on it being unsteady.
