Noticed my library's writing group doubling in size lately.

I mean, it used to be just a few regulars, but now there's a full room every week. Idk, maybe it's just me, but it feels like more people are getting into writing for fun again. What kind of prompts do you think work best for bigger groups like that?

Used to hate group prompts, but big crowds need open-ended ones.

Totally! I read something a while back about how a too-specific prompt can just shut people down. Like, if you ask a group for "blueprint ideas," only the engineers jump in. But if you just ask "how could we fix this?" you get wild, useful stuff from everyone, even the quiet folks in the corner. It's like giving people a box of legos instead of a paint-by-numbers kit. Makes sense why big crowds need that open space to actually get ideas flowing.

My old office killed brainstorming (felt like a pop quiz).
