Hit 50 balayage clients in a month and it felt wild
I just looked at my books from April and saw I did exactly 50 balayage services. That's way up from my usual 25 or so. I think it's because I started using a new lightener from a brand called L'Oréal Professionnel, and the processing time is a bit faster. It let me fit in one more appointment most days without rushing. Has anyone else seen a big jump after changing just one product in their color routine?

That jump from 25 to 50 is a perfect example. A small efficiency gain, like a faster lightener, can have a huge ripple effect on your whole workflow. It's wild how one tweak can basically double your capacity.

Read a blog post from a salon owner who had the same thing happen when she switched to a faster processing toner... she said it was like finding an extra hour in her day. Makes you wonder how much time we waste waiting on old formulas.

Hold on, is an hour a day really that big of a deal? @cora863 I get the point about saving time. But a faster toner just shifts the waiting to another step, like styling or cleanup. The real bottleneck is usually the stylist's speed, not the product. Feels like we're chasing tiny fixes instead of looking at the whole schedule. That extra hour probably just gets filled with more admin work anyway.
