My buddy called my old truck a 'rolling coal factory' and it stung

He was right, so I sold it and now I carpool with him in his hybrid to our fencing jobs. Anyone else made a big switch after some blunt honesty?

Honestly, that seems like a huge overreaction. It was just a truck. Selling it over one comment is pretty drastic. Not like you were running a real factory.

My friend's dad kept his old truck for 15 years after his wife said it embarrassed her. He finally sold it last month and said it felt like a 15 year argument ended.

My cousin told me my old clunker was a death trap, so I finally got a safe car.
