Tell us what brand the old stove is. I've noticed a real drop in quality with a lot of outdoor gear lately, where the new version is just cheaper plastic. What exactly broke or feels worse on the new one?

Honestly, grantmartinez, people complain about this every time a product gets updated. It's often just a different feel, not that it actually breaks faster. My newer gear has held up fine through some rough trips.
