Best week I ever had with a CA disability lawyer vs worst week
Honestly, my best week was when my lawyer got my back pay approved in 3 days after 18 months of waiting. But last month I had the worst week when her paralegal lost my medical records twice. Has anyone else had totally different experiences with the same firm?

My buddy had a similar thing with his worker's comp lawyer - got a huge settlement fast but then the secretary forgot to file one form and set him back four months. Wild how the same office can be a total mess one week and amazing the next.

Oh man, that's exactly what happened with my SSDI lawyer. The lead attorney got me approved in like 2 months but then her assistant straight up lost my entire file for a week and I had to resend everything. It's like you get a superstar and a total trainwreck all in one office.

And nobody's talking about how these offices could fix this stuff so easy if they wanted to... like just get a shared cloud folder or a simple case management app that costs like 50 bucks a month. But instead they're still using paper files and sticky notes and hoping for the best. The truth is most of these firms don't care about the assistants or the systems they use because the lead attorney is the one bringing in the money and the clients. So the assistant gets minimum wage and zero training and you end up paying for it with your time and stress. Until clients start walking away over this stuff nothing's gonna change.

Wait so did they at least knock some off the bill for that mess @the_stella? Or are they just acting like losing your whole file is no big deal and still charging full price?
