Reconsidering the cleaver for bone-in cuts

I always relied on my bandsaw for ribs and thought cleavers were just for show. Then I had a busy day where the saw kept jamming, so I tried a heavy cleaver out of frustration. It went through the bone so clean and quick, I was shocked. Now I use it for pork chops and lamb racks to save time on setup. Honestly, it's become my go-to for rush jobs, lol.

But like how often are you really in that much of a rush? Tbh it just sounds like extra work to me.

My 10-minute shortcut saved me last Tuesday.

Isn't the cleaver just making more cleanup work for you later, like victor_jones99 said?
